"No, I am not a Zombie." "Some of us are meant to be alone" "I wouldn't want to stab you with needles" LOST 6.3 Recap

After a season opener, the follow up episode is usually a soft ball compared to the hard ball of the first episode. And last night was no exception. We only follow a couple of the main characters and storylines. Likes, dislikes, loves, thoughts, & theories:

What I liked:

  • Sayid’s Zombie Talk
  • Aldo getting the rifle again
  •  Kate coming back to Claire

-   What I disliked:

  • The stupid vagueness of describing what is happening to Sayid
  •  Jin still asking about Sun, I know he doesn’t know where she is, but just go, dude, and try to find her!

-   What I loved:

  • 100% homage to Empire Strikes Back when Sayid’s torture is done
  • Jack swallowing the pill
  • Ethan joking about not sticking Claire with needles Sawyer

-
TThoughts & Theories:

  • Sawyer has probably grown the most as a character, next to Jack and Locke, and last night was just such a touching moment.
  •  The only really thing I want to talk about is Claire going bad/evil/dark, which I hate (and not because I am secretly in love with the actress that plays her). Last time we saw Claire on the Island she was having a camp fire with Flocke in the form of Jack’s father or her father. Does this mean that Flocke got to her? That kind of makes sense except for the fact that it sounds like for the last 2-3 years she has been playing guerilla warfare against the Others, just like Rosseau did. And you can draw a lot of parallels between Rosseau and Claire, but does that mean that Rosseau was always working for Flocke too? Or is Claire just been corrupted by dark forces on the Island that are unrealated to Flocke? And is that really what’s going to happen to Sayid?

But, I imagine we won’t get back to Claire next week, or the week after. But, ‘till next week, try not to get….
